> I was lucky enough to work alongside Sue developing the projections for her latest theatre production Vessel, developing approaches to making her work accesible to deaf ears - we spent an interesting week at the Attenborough Centre ACCA experimenting with fusing BSL signers and captions with the live performance. Over the next year we evolved these starting points further.

For the final production every word of the script was projected behind the performers, playing with transitions, composition and gentle animation. This additional visual layer gave the spoken words added potency and another way of understanding what was being said - challenging, innovative, playful, intrinsically very simple.
